Nidhi Seed Support
NIDHI Seed Support Scheme (Nidhi Prayas Yojna) is meant to help promising start-ups with innovation, prototypes, and seed funding to grow their endeavors into commercial successes.
Objective
Under the NIDHI PRAYAS YOJNA program (Promoting and Accelerating Young and Aspiring Technology entrepreneurs), startups can develop new ideas into prototypes. Selected innovators may receive a prototyping grant up to Rs. 25,00,000 (Rupees Twenty-Five Lakhs) as per the rules and regulations established.
Eligibility criteria
- Technology-backed start-ups in any sector with customer traction and initial revenues.
- The start-up should be a registered company in India and incubated with IIMUIC with a post-incubation period of at least 3 months.
- Seed support is disbursed to incubatees (physical or virtual) based on the recommendation of the Seed Support Management Committee.
- Investment shall be made as Equity Financing.
- Shareholding by Indian promoters in the incubate start-up should be at least 51%.
