Nidhi Seed Support
Nidhi Seed Support Scheme (Nidhi Prayas) aims to encourage the setting up of the start-up ecosystem in the commercial center and provide accessibility to the seed funding to empower startups to scale their business in the commercial center.
Objective: Under the NIDHI PRAYAS (Promoting and Accelerating Young and Aspiring Technology Entrepreneurs) scheme, the focus is on developing new innovative ideas into prototypes. Each innovative idea, once supported, will be provided with a grant of up to Rs. 10 Lakhs for a maximum period of 18 months.
Nidhi Prayas Eligibility
The Nidhi Prayas program provides prototype funding to young, budding inventors. The maximum funding amount is up to Rs. 10 Lakhs, spanning a maximum period of 18 months. The grant helps support the development of innovative ideas into prototypes.
- A co-founder of a start-up seeking NIDHI PRAYAS must be an Indian citizen with a valid passport or voter ID.
- The start-up should not have an annual turnover exceeding Rs. 20 Lakhs for any of the financial years.
- Prototypes must be capable of being commercialized within 18 months.
- Proof of concept grant for converting ideas and innovations into a prototype. Proposals for products having crossed the prototype stage are not eligible for support under Nidhi Prayas.
